Done With PvE? It’s Time For Shamam PvP
Enough with the PvE, it’s now time to fight head to head against fellow Warcraft players. What does it take to win? This Shamam PvP guide will walk you through a few important things.
First thing first, you should have a Shaman that’s really geared for PvP. Otherwise, you risk running away as a loser.
Perhaps the most difficult part of creating a PvP character from your PvE character is gearing it. You will need to get a gear that gives your character not only the sufficient protection but also the needed plus in certain attributes. Like all other classes in WoW, the gear worn by the character often makes the difference between survival and defeating enemies.
Shaman PvP Gears As a Shaman PvP, the gears that could help you best are as follows the Savage Gladiator Armor, Hateful Armor, Deadly Gladiator, and Furious Gladiator. The majority of these are obtained only using Honor Points and some can be obtained using specialized items like Emblems of Valor. Currently, the Furious Gladiator armor is the top PvP armor for Shamans. As such, it comes with the price of leveling your character, team and personal ratings in the Arena PvP, honor points, and, of course, serious time spent with the game.
Shaman PvP Skills Don’t underestimate the powers of the totems – these do well in both PvE and PvP. So whatever totem you have, don’t hesitate to use it in combat. It always pays to have some extra powerful tools to increase you capacity to deal damage. In general, the following totems come in very handy in PvPing: Tremor Totem, Grounding Totem, Earth Shock, Earthbind Totem, Bloodlust or Heroism, Purge, Hex, Ghost Wolf, and Cleansing Totem.
Shaman PvP Builds
Restoration Shaman Most players overlook the capacity of the Restoration Shaman as a PvPing character. While this may not be the best build for fighting against other players, this doesn’t mean that it can’t bring to the table a few useful talents. For one, it is the quintessential 5th member that can deal damage while act as a support member. It can tank decently, cast damage from a distance, and above all, work as the primary healer of any group where other healers are not present.
When rolling this build, however, you are advised not to try to take down opponents more powerful than yourself. Always think that you’re the go-to-guy for buffs and heals, but never for inflicting massive damage on opponents. The best thing you should do – keep yourself distanced from your opponents and hurl down your ranged spells and buffs.
The Frost Shock and Ghost Wolf are your best hands although you may also take advantage of the Chain Heal if you can take the longer cast time. You can always trust on the Chain Heal to work successfully though if you use it from a safe distance from your opponents.
Elemental Shaman The DPS caster of the Shamans. You’re best strategy is to defeat your enemies within your maximum casting range. Call on the elements every time you can and send your opponents to their graves while dishing out powerful buffs and heals for your teammates.
Enhancement Shaman Want to jump right into the heat of the battle huh? Create an Enhancement Shamam PvP. Wade into the battle with this melee-geared character and deal massive damage to your opponents.
Whether it’s Enhancement, Elemental or Restoration, a Shamam PvP will always have up its sleeves a few tricks that’ll send its opponents straight to their graveyards. All the while being useful as a healer and support character.
