In many cases they are able to give light for about 50,000 hours before they need to be changed. This equates to them having a lifespan of around 10 years.

Difference 3 - This type of lamps may be smaller than other types but you will find that it is able to discharge light for each unit of current used. So of course this in turn ensures that it is the most energy saving form of lighting you can get and use in your home or business now. In fact if you were just to replace one light source in your home from conventional to LED lighting then you can save nearly 30% each year on your electricity bill. So just think what would happen if you decided to change every single bulb in your residence over to the LED type.

Difference 4 - You will find that the amount of heat that LED lights emits is next to none and so there is no possibility of them causing a fire to take place in your home should the light continue on for too long.
